The dramatic Kent coast wreckage in season 2 episode 1 was constructed from a combination of sand and soil ground cover, mixed debris and timber, lifted in car wrecks, sandbags and bricks. We also ensured the scene of the town hall explosion was film ready by using groundcover to hide any unsuitable road lines
